Mathematical Modeling and Analysis of Tumor Chemotherapy

چکیده

Cancer diseases lead to the second-highest death rate all over world. For treating tumors, one of most common schemes is chemotherapy, which can decrease tumor size and control progression cancer diseases. To better understand mechanisms we developed a mathematical model growth under chemotherapy. This includes both immune system response drug therapy. We characterize symmetrical properties dynamics this differential equation by finding equilibrium points exploring stability symmetry in range parameters. Sensitivity analyses suggest that chemotherapy drug-induced mortality decay contribute significantly determination treatment outcomes. Numerical simulations highlight importance CTL activation

Mathematical Modeling and Lyapunov-Based Drug Administration in Cancer Chemotherapy

In this paper a new mathematical model is developed for the dynamics between tumor cells, normal cells, immune cells, chemotherapy drug concentration and drug toxicity. Then, the theorem of Lyapunov stability is applied to design treatment strategies for drug protocols that ensure a desired rate of tumor cell kill and push the system to the area with smaller tumor cells. Using of this theorem a...

Mathematical modeling, analysis and simulation of Ebola epidemics

‎Mathematical models are the most important tools in epidemiology to understand previous outbreaks of diseases and to better understand the dynamics of how infections spread through populations‎. ‎Many existing models closely approximate historical disease patterns‎. ‎This article investigates the mathematical model of the deadly disease with severe and uncontrollable bleeding‎, ‎Ebola which is...

Mathematical Modeling and Analysis of Tumor Therapy with Oncolytic Virus

In this paper, we have proposed and analyzed a nonlinear mathematical model for the study of interaction between tumor cells and oncolytic viruses. The model is analyzed using stability theory of differential equations. Positive equilibrium points of the system are investigated and their stability analysis is carried out. Moreover, the numerical simulation of the proposed model is also performe...

Mathematical modeling of liver tumor

As recently demonstrated for liver regeneration after drug-induced damage, organization and growth processes can be systematically analyzed by a process chain of experiments, image analysis and modeling [43]. The authors of [43] were able to quantitatively characterize the architecture of liver lobules, the repetitive functional building blocks of liver, and turn this into a quantitative mathem...

Computational and Mathematical Modeling of Tumor Kinetics and Response to Radiation and Chemotherapy

The AACR Cancer Progress Report (2011) shows that in the USA from 1990 to 2007, death rates from all cancers dropped to 22% in men and 14% in women. More than 68% of adults live five years or more after diagnosis, up from 50% in 1975. For all paediatric cancers, the five-year survival rate is 80%, compared with 52% in 1975. However, the poor survival rates from most deadly cancers, pancreatic, ...
